Fluorescent UV Lamp Aging Exposure Test Equipment

Accelerated Weathering & Photostability Testing System for Polymers, Coatings, and Advanced Materials

Outdoor materials face relentless degradation from solar ultraviolet (UV) radiation, moisture, and thermal cycling. The Fluorescent UV Lamp Aging Exposure Test Equipment simulates critical climatic forces within a controlled laboratory environment. By combining fluorescent UV radiation with controlled temperature and moisture/ condensation cycles, the system helps manufacturers evaluate long-term material degradation in a shorter, more repeatable testing period.

It is suitable for evaluating color fading, cracking, chalking, gloss loss, embrittlement, coating degradation, and other UV-induced changes in polymers, rubber, coatings, automotive materials, building materials, textiles, and related products.

Model: UV-SI-260 and more custom models

Standard: ASTM G154, ASTM D 4329 – 05, ASTM C1257, ISO 4892, ASTM C1442, ASTM C1519, ASTM C793, ASTM D1148, ASTM D3424, ASTM D3451, ASTM D4101,  ASTM D6577, ASTM D6662,SAE J2020

Key Features of Fluorescent UV Lamp Aging Exposure Test Equipment

Fluorescent UV Lamp System
8 × 40W fluorescent UV lamps in bilateral distribution; UVA-340 (295–400 nm, best solar match) or UVB-313 (high-intensity, rapid QC) selectable according to application.

Programmable UV Aging Cycles
Irradiance programmable across 0.1–1.0 W/m²/nm at 340 nm with closed-loop automatic calibration, compensating for lamp aging to keep long test cycles repeatable.

Stable Temperature Control
Chamber temperature range ambient  to 90°C, controlled to ±0.5°C fluctuation for consistent specimen exposure conditions.

UV and Condensation Testing
Built-in condensation system reaches ≥ 95% R.H. during the moisture cycle, with an optional water-spray stage to reproduce rain and thermal-shock stress.

Uniform Specimen Exposure
Standard racks hold up to 52 specimens (75×150 mm) per run, positioned for even UV exposure across the mounting area. Customized holders are available for irregular parts.

Touchscreen Programmable Controller
Color LCD touchscreen with multilingual UI; USB and Ethernet data logging let operators program, monitor, and export UV/temperature/condensation cycle data in real time.

Safety Protection
Multi-level protection — over-temperature cutoff, low-water level alarm, circuit breaker, and overload/leakage protection — rated for unattended 24/7 operation.
