UV Fadeometer

The UV fadeometer is a device that uses high-power water-cooled xenon lamp tubes to simulate full-spectrum sunlight, including UV ultraviolet light, visible light, and infrared rays, to conduct accelerated aging tests on test samples. The test samples may experience discoloration, embrittlement, fragmentation, and performance degradation due to aging. The UV fadeometer also combines controllable temperature, humidity, and rainfall environmental conditions to more realistically simulate outdoor natural environments, achieving aging effects in a short time that would take months to years in the real world.

Details of UV Fadeometer

Water-Cooled Xenon Arc Lamp

  • 4500W power, 1600h lifespan. It cools through a water jacket. The light intensity is more stable, the lifespan is longer, and the simulation effect is better.

  • By combining different optical filters, the spectrum can be trimmed to simulate different environments: Daylight.Window Glass Filter ,Extended UV Filter .

  • Irradiance control: Real-time monitoring of light intensity and automatic feedback adjustment of the lamp power to maintain a constant irradiance.




Sample Holder System

  • Drum-type (rotating drum) sample holder: The rotation speed can be adjusted, resulting in better uniformity. This is a requirement for many standard tests (such as AATCC 16).

  • Customization:

  • Flat-type sample holder: Samples are placed flat on the tray and the xenon lamp is located at the top.

  • Equipped with BPT to measure the actual temperature of the sample surface.

Water circulation system

  • Components:

  • Cooling circulating water: Used to cool the water-cooled lamp tube and the main body of the equipment to prevent overheating.

  • Spraying water: Used to simulate the rain effect. The water circulation system includes an automatic filtration system.

  • Spraying cycle: Can be freely programmed.

Control system

  • Customized program: Users can freely create and store test programs, setting the duration and cycle for each stage such as lighting, darkness, spraying, humidity, etc.

  • Real-time monitoring and recording. Data can be exported to generate reports. Remote monitoring and equipment status inquiry can be achieved.
