UV light accelerated weathering tester simulates the damaging effects of sunlight, dew, and rain on materials in a controlled laboratory environment. By using fluorescent UV lamps (UVA-340 or UVB-313), the tester replicates the ultraviolet portion of sunlight, which is primarily responsible for the photodegradation of polymers and coatings.

It is mainly used to evaluate the weather resistance performance of the following materials: plastics, rubber, coatings, paints,automobile exterior components ,building materials ,printed materials, etc.

Fluorescent UV Lamps

8 high-performance UV lamps (UVA-340 or UVB-313), arranged in parallel to provide uniform irradiance across all sample positions.

Each lamp has a lifespan of up to 1600 hours and is easy to replace.

Water Circulation & Condensation System

Automatic water supply and drainage system to support condensation cycles. The system maintains stable humidity levels by creating a saturated vapor environment during the dark phase, simulating night-time dew.

Black Panel Thermometer & Radiometer

Built-in black panel thermometer (BPT) and optional UV radiometer ensure accurate monitoring and control of surface temperature and UV intensity.

Sample Holder

Corrosion-resistant aluminum sample holders, capable of holding up to 56 standard test panels (typically 75 × 150 mm). Custom sample fixtures are also available for 3D objects.

Remote Monitoring and Control

 

The tester supports remote access via Ethernet or USB interface, allowing users to monitor test progress, adjust parameters, and download data logs from a PC or mobile device.
