Penang & Singapore — August 2025 — LIB Industry reinforced its “customer-first” service ethos with two on-site interventions across Southeast Asia, translating policy into practice and showcasing the reliability and configurability of its temperature–humidity platforms.

    Penang: Fine-tuning a TH-800A to a tricky 32 °C / 90% RH point—without workspace water

At a toy-car manufacturer in Penang, a TH-800A temperature & humidity chamber was operating within spec, yet the user needed continuous testing at 32 °C / 90% RH with specimens sealed inside cardboard boxes—and no visible water in the workspace. The LIB team addressed two potential water sources:

Humidification housekeeping. The service crew adjusted the water cup position feeding the humidity probe and controlled tank level to prevent overflow that could cause pooling in the test room.

Refrigeration balance. Because 32 °C with high RH still engages cooling, LIB retuned PID heat–cool balance to minimize evaporator frosting and mitigate condensate dripping through the front baffle perforations.

The visit also set a best-practice template: when a project targets a single, demanding T/RH setpoint or unusual fixture, co-engineering during build can incorporate small design tweaks that eliminate trade-offs later.

Singapore: Warranty in motion—compressor swap on a walk-in chamber

In Singapore, a TH-0016B walk-in was struggling to reach -40 °C and exhibited long-term compressor noise. Because the unit was still within LIB’s 3-year warranty, engineers performed a full compressor replacement on site. The corrective action restored low-temperature performance and reduced acoustic nuisance, underscoring how LIB handles wear-related issues that manifest after sustained duty.

Preventive care at NUS: Composite salt spray chamber tune-up

During the same trip, LIB technicians visited National University of Singapore (NUS) for preventive maintenance on a composite salt spray chamber, inspecting water/electrical lines, spray tower and atomizing circuits, and temperature/humidity subsystems to keep the rig within calibration and ready for continuous research use.

From policy to practice: 3-year warranty, lifetime maintenance

    LIB’s service playbook is straightforward:

3-Year Warranty & Lifetime Maintenance. Repairs are free during the warranty; beyond three years, LIB provides lifetime technical support and only charges material cost, with labor free. If on-site resolution isn’t possible, a replacement unit is supplied. LIB also operates round-the-clock English support (24/7) and triages via remote video, parts dispatch, or engineer visit as needed.

    Why this matters

High-humidity points near ambient—especially with porous fixtures like cardboard—can create atypical moisture dynamics (overflow risks, frosting/defrost transients). The Penang case shows how small fluid-path and PID adjustments preserve chamber cleanliness while meeting spec. The Singapore case shows how a clear, enforceable warranty removes friction when heavy components wear, keeping labs productive.

From co-designing niche setpoints to swapping a compressor under warranty, LIB continues to convert a written policy into measurable uptime for customers across the region.
