From May 25, LIB Industry initiated a structured after-sales service and inspection visit across Southeast Asia, with Vietnam serving as a key stop in the regional service schedule. The visit focused on a long-term customer—IMV Vietnam—who operates advanced reliability testing facilities for automotive components, including automotive speaker systems.
During this on-site service program, LIB engineers conducted full operational verification, troubleshooting support, and test validation for two core environmental reliability systems: the SC Series Salt Fog and SO₂ Corrosion Chamber and the GCM Series Mixed Gas Corrosion System. The tested samples included automotive speakers, which require high resistance to corrosive environments, humidity fluctuation, and long-term material degradation.
This visit not only ensured stable equipment performance but also reinforced LIB Industry’s global service commitment: 3-year warranty, lifetime technical support, and one-stop after-sales service coverage. The Southeast Asia inspection is part of LIB’s continuous global service strategy, with additional regional customer visits and inquiry follow-ups scheduled in the coming months.
The Southeast Asia market has become a key region for automotive electronics and components manufacturing. Vietnam, in particular, is rapidly expanding its industrial base, attracting global suppliers and testing laboratories focused on reliability validation.
As part of LIB Industry’s global service framework, the engineering team conducted a scheduled visit to IMV Vietnam beginning May 25. The main objectives included:
On-site inspection of installed corrosion test systems
Equipment performance verification under real operating conditions
Technical troubleshooting and optimization support
Validation testing using customer samples (automotive speakers)
Reinforcement of long-term maintenance strategy and training support
This structured approach ensures that LIB equipment continues to perform under industrial conditions while maintaining compliance with international testing standards.
IMV Vietnam operates as a specialized testing and validation facility serving automotive and electronics manufacturers. One of its key testing focuses is automotive speaker reliability evaluation, where components must withstand harsh environmental exposure before being approved for mass production.
Automotive speakers are highly sensitive to environmental degradation. In real-world conditions, they are exposed to:
High humidity and temperature cycling inside vehicles
Coastal salt air in Southeast Asia markets
Corrosive gases from industrial pollution and urban environments
Long-term vibration and acoustic stress during operation
These conditions require accelerated laboratory simulation to ensure long-term product stability. Corrosion resistance is particularly critical, as speaker terminals, metal frames, and conductive parts can degrade over time, affecting both acoustic performance and electrical stability.
To address these challenges, IMV Vietnam deployed LIB Industry’s advanced corrosion testing solutions, including salt fog and mixed gas simulation systems.
The LIB Industry SC Series Salt Fog and SO₂ Corrosion Chamber is designed to simulate combined corrosive environments for material and product durability testing. It integrates salt spray exposure with sulfur dioxide corrosion conditions, enabling accelerated aging of metals, coatings, and assembled components.
Salt fog (NaCl solution) corrosion simulation
SO₂ gas corrosion environment generation
Stable temperature and humidity control
Programmable cyclic exposure modes
Uniform corrosion distribution system
This dual-environment capability is particularly valuable for automotive applications, where components must resist both marine salt exposure and industrial atmospheric pollution.
| Technical Parameter Group | Standard Specifications & Performance Range |
| Temperature Range | Ambient to +50°C (Salt Spray) / +35°C to +50°C (Gas Dosing) |
| Temperature Fluctuation | ±0.5 °C |
| Salt Spray Fallout Rate | 1.0 to 2.0 mL / 80 cm² / hour (Adjustable via atomizer controls) |
| SO2 Gas Concentration Control | Adjustable per standard requirements (Typically 0.1% to 1.0% by volume) |
| Chamber Material Construction | Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) with high structural thermal stability |
| Humidifying System | Saturated air barrel with automated water refilling mechanisms |

The robust design of the SC series empowers test laboratories to meet and exceed global test methodologies. The equipment fully complies with an expansive matrix of international test standards:
ISO 9227: Corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres — Salt spray tests.
ASTM B117: Standard Practice for Operating Salt Spray (Fog) Apparatus.
IEC 60068-2-11: Environmental testing - Part 2-11: Tests - Test Ka: Salt mist.
ASTM G85 (Annex A4): Standard Practice for Modified Salt Spray Testing ($SO_2$ Gas Added).
In addition to salt fog testing, IMV Vietnam also operates the LIB Industry GCM Series Noxious Gas Corrosion Chamber, which is designed to simulate complex atmospheric corrosion conditions caused by industrial pollution and urban environmental exposure.
Unlike single-factor corrosion systems, the GCM series introduces controlled concentrations of multiple corrosive gases, enabling highly realistic environmental simulation.
| Operational Feature | GCM Series Operational Parameter Matrix |
| Gas Inflow Controls | Independent Mass Flow Controllers (MFC) for H2S, SO2, NO2, Cl2 |
| Temperature Range | +15°C to +60°C |
| Relative Humidity (RH) Range | 50% to 95% R.H. |
| Gas Concentration Thresholds | From low ppb levels up to 200 ppm (Configured per model specifications) |
| Exhaust Gas Treatment Unit | Integrated active chemical scrubbing system for safe laboratory discharge |
| Safety Mechanisms | Ambient gas sensors, automated chamber purge cycles, and pressure locks |

By establishing stable, accelerated corrosive environments, the GCM Series Mixed Gas Chamber allows engineering teams to accurately forecast the operational life expectancy of electronic components based on recognized global standards:
IEC 60068-2-60: Environmental testing - Part 2-60: Tests - Test Ke: Flowing mixed gas corrosion test.
ASTM B845: Standard Guide for Mixed Flowing Gas (MFG) Tests for Electrical Contacts.
EIA 364-65: Mixed Flowing Gas Procedure for Electrical Connectors and Sockets.
A core highlight of this Southeast Asia visit was LIB Industry’s full implementation of its on-site after-sales service policy, ensuring continuous support beyond equipment delivery.

The engineering team performed:
Full system operational diagnostics
Performance validation under real test conditions
Calibration and parameter optimization
Live testing using automotive speaker samples
Preventive maintenance inspection and guidance
The equipment demonstrated stable operation throughout the inspection process, with consistent environmental control and reliable test repeatability.
LIB Industry’s service philosophy is built on three pillars:
3-Year Warranty Coverage for core systems
Lifetime Technical Support for all global customers
One-Stop Service System covering installation, maintenance, and upgrades
This visit further strengthened customer confidence in LIB’s long-term reliability support capabilities and demonstrated the company’s ability to provide responsive technical service across Southeast Asia.
