Solar Climatic Test Chamber

Ultraviolet pretreatment is a crucial step before conducting thermal cycling and humidity freezing tests. It helps determine which materials, encapsulation materials, and adhesives are prone to degradation under UV radiation.

The LIB solar climatic test chamber is a UV pretreatment chamber specifically designed for testing PV modules. It can simulate the ultraviolet radiation that solar panels receive in the actual environment, following the provisions in IEC 61215 standard, especially the requirements of the MQT 10 test sequence.

Working Chamber

 

SUS304 stainless steel material, resistant to corrosion, with high ultraviolet reflectivity (mirror finish). Surrounding insulation materials maintain the stability of the internal environment.

UV system

Fluorescent UVA lamps (20 pieces) and UVB lamps (10 pieces) are placed in the middle of the two sample racks to ensure that the photovoltaic panels receive uniform light and avoid uneven aging.

Sample holder

Designed specifically for full-size photovoltaic panels, with a vertical structure and an open frame design, capable of accommodating multiple modules simultaneously (customizable for larger workshop capacity).

Control system

Programmable LCD touch screen controller, which controls parameters such as irradiance, temperature, black screen temperature, and exposure duration. Supports remote monitoring and operation, and can be connected to a PC.
