Industrial Forced Air Thermal Degradation Ageing Oven

Controlled Thermal Exposure for Reliable Material Ageing and Degradation Studies

The Industrial Forced Air Thermal Degradation Ageing Oven from LIB industry provides controlled elevated-temperature exposure for evaluating thermal ageing, degradation, heat resistance, and material stability. Continuous forced-air circulation distributes heated air throughout the chamber, supporting consistent exposure during long-duration testing.

Available in 100–1000 L chamber volumes, the oven supports standard temperatures up to +250°C, with higher-temperature configurations available. Temperature performance can reach ±0.5°C fluctuation and ±2.0°C deviation, with a heating rate of approximately 6°C/min. It is suitable for plastics, polymers, rubber, electrical insulation, coatings, automotive materials, and electronic components.

How Does Forced Air Improve Thermal Ageing Performance?

Consistent Air Distribution

The forced-air circulation system continuously moves heated air through the chamber, improving heat transfer and helping reduce temperature gradients. This provides more consistent thermal exposure for specimens during ageing and degradation tests.

Stable Temperature Control

A programmable controller maintains the selected test temperature during extended operation. The oven can achieve ±0.5°C temperature fluctuation and ±2.0°C temperature deviation, supporting repeatable thermal exposure.

Flexible Temperature Configurations

Different materials require different ageing conditions. LIB industry offers standard configurations from Ambient to +250°C, with options for +400°C, +900°C, and up to +1200°C for specialized high-temperature applications. Chamber volume, insulation, heating capacity, and airflow can be configured according to the selected temperature range.

Key Components for Reliable Thermal Ageing

Forced-Air Circulation

The circulation system continuously moves heated air through the working chamber, supporting a more consistent thermal environment around the specimens.

Heating System

Nichrome heating elements provide the thermal energy required to reach and maintain the selected test temperature. The heating capacity and layout can be adapted to different temperature requirements and chamber volumes.

Stainless Steel Workroom

The working chamber uses SUS304 stainless steel, providing a durable and easy-to-clean surface for repeated thermal exposure applications.

Programmable Controller

The color LCD touchscreen controller enables users to set temperature conditions, control test duration, store programs, and monitor operation. Ethernet communication is available for system integration and remote data access.
